Ray Badon..From my earliest childhood memories I always wanted to be a musician and play in a band, because I had uncles who all played instruments and had their own bands ,and also my father owned an electric guitar and could play a few chords and licks on it. That was a long time ago . I guess if I had to count up the years that I have owned and been learning to play the guitar it would be nearing a half century (BELIEVE IT OR NOT) . Most of my time on the road is with this band shared by my eldest son, and the remainder of those years were in bands with uncles and a brother who played drums. Whoever said dreams don't come true ?   Wally Butler..Around 10 I got my 1st guitar did nothing with it. age 12 bought my 1st electric guitar messed around a little. Age 15 my step dad (an accomplished fiddle player) fixed up a old fender p bass for me to learn on. Started playing in garage bands right away. Age 16 tried out for sulphur high show choir where I met my wife of 15 years now. Played in show choir for 3 years playing around 55 gig a year . age 17 snuck into a bar and played in front of my 1st bar crowd. (Charlie C’s in hackberry) it was great we weren’t even old enough to be in the bar , but people were buying us drinks . played in local bars until age 22 when I laid music down when my 1st child was born . started playing Christian music at age 25. mostly for my own enjoyment. Didn’t play for crowds much. At age 27(1998) I was introduced to Barry Badon through a mutual friend. He hired me on a month later as his bass player. I have never played with a better entertainer or a better person. He has a big heart and does not take everything too seriously. I did not join a band, I joined a family. I am prepared to play music only as long as Barry continues to play   Noltan Saltzman...Oldest member of the band (age wise) Nolton has about 45 years of expereince of playing the saxaphone in various swamp pop groups,he also sometimes fills in on keys, and is our scrub-board player....also nolton takes care of all the wires, cables microphones ,stands ....etc a great guy and the comedian in the group!!!Nolton has been with the band 18 -1/2 years.   Joe Lyons   Randy Richardson...Played drums on stage for the first time at the age of 10. It is so much fun playing with the Bayou Boys. Barry energizes the band as well as the fans.
